2XL HUDSON BAY WOOL BLANKET BLACK POWDER MOUNTAIN MAN CAPOTE COAT HUDSON’S POINT

Description

Wool blanket capote coat hand sewn by me in the boxcut period correct pattern, from a vintage Hudson’s Bay all wool blanket, which was washed and air dried.  There is red dye bleeding throughout the coat. Measurements shoulder to shoulder 32”, underarm to unrolled cuff 23”, length 46”. Would fit a mens 2XL or smaller. Great for hunting, fishing, black powder, boating, rendezvous, reenactment or camping.
A special thank you to the gentleman who sent me the last four photos of the coat he purchased for a photo shoot, which was then turned into a painting, which subsequently became the front cover of Muzzloader, and who so generously offered to let me use them to show the coat in a historical setting.
