Description

Cloak/Cape Colonial Period/Amer Rev re enactment for MEN or WOMEN Hand made. Pre owned in very good condition. This wool blend cape /cloak is clean with some marks of wear on interior of white (some color change) wool lining and threads/pulls.
Don't be dissuaded by the size listed:
This was worn comfortably by a woman 5'4" and a 6' foot tall man.
The measurements are APPROXIMATE - length from shoulder seam under collar to bottom front  53 inches, width from FRONT shoulder to shoulder 20 inches approx. double around chest and back. Width at bottom from side seem to side seam  is approx 57". That's a lot of fabric, full width is double that number.
The collar is doubled and gives the cape/cloak a notch up on the quality scale.  The item is extremely well made.
There is no hem on bottom and no fraying. The back maybe a bit longer than the front. It appears to have been cut free hand. See photo.This cloak is warm and I was told repelled light persistent rain.  The Cape/cloak is lined with wool blend.  It could be pure wool but I am not sure, so I am saying wool blend.   Feel free too message me with any questions as item is not returnable.
