    Description

    Set of 4 items
These are high quality, handmade items that were used by a French Marine reenactor during the 80s- no imported junk. All are reproductions of excellent quality.
***Prior owner made this powder horn and had also been commissioned by Fort Niagara historical site in NY to make others for their interpretive collection in the soldier barracks.  This speaks to the quality of the workmanship.
    Sale includes:
    Linen Haversack
    , handsewn, 3 pewter buttons
    Powder Horn with brass fittings
    - was handmade by highly skilled original owner who also made 4 of the same on commission for Fort Niagara Historic Site in NY-still on exhibit as far as we know.
    Leather Cartridge Pouch
with block. Brass buckle, adjustable length.  Leather is supple and beautiful.
    Leather Bayonet Carriage belt
(is very large- 60" long as set in brass buckle now, but has every ability to be cut down for smaller waist as needed) See photo where has tear at top of notch for hook-will need to be resewn/fixed.  Belt is painted white.
All are in good to excellent condition, some signs of wear on the leather goods make them more believable and so you will not look like you stepped out of a catalog!
See all photos for details, closeups, measurements, etc.
