Hanging Silver Scissor Case with chains, historical reproduction

Lovely small scissor case
meant to hang from a ribbon, cord or to be hung from chain on a chatelaine pin or hook. There is a short chain with a lobster type clasp for you to clip thru one handle of the scissor. Scissor is not included but I found that the small blade manicure scissors work fine. Once the scissor is clipped on the chain you can use it to cut threads etc., without fear of losing the scissors!
This is a beautiful yet handy item to have. It is silver metal but I am not sure if silver plate so I have listed it this way because there are no markings on it to say what level of silver it is.   I know it does tarnish and I have used a cleaning cloth several times that I have owned it. I purchased it at a reenactment from a living history sutler back in around 1996.  I do have the chatelaine pin and a pin cushion also listed separately for sale recognizing that someone may just be looking for accessory pieces for a chatelaine they already own.

Overall size from bottom tip to top edge of scissor case is about 2.5"
I am retiring out of reenacting for the most part, keeping only bare essentials,and will be doing extensive traveling in an RV and simply do not have the space to store my decades of reenacting possessions.  Non smoking household.
