The handmade and smooth polished Hair Comb Mantilla is meant to secure your hair upwards with its long curved teeth and simply tucks in once you've secured all with hairpins. It is made of genuine animal horn, polished, steam curved, and no two are ever alike, this one has a lovely swirl of chocolate brown at the double middle scalloped top shading to deep tan beige below. There is also a patch of brown swirling through the upper teeth area teeth, on a wide angle. Mother Nature makes these as she sees fit, each one unique! See the gentle curve that helps it stay in place  Everything then was considered pride and precious on the farmstead home, and today we find the same joy in re-using these sturdy hand made items of good character and period fit.
