This is a new model at Lady Ellens not offered ever before, this is a special ALL SEASON Design for my serious Ladies who love being that extra special woman in the room! Made of ivory candle light cotton, the chemise is properly three quarter sleeved, drawstring tie closures at neckline and sleeves with delicious matching slender ivory satin ribbon enough to make a bow, long length full body just past knees, machine stitched for durability and price control and finished with acres of airy cotton woven thick scalloped lace. Sorry, but that cheap rose imitation white polyester lace is NOT EVER used here so no worries, Ladies, that belongs in the garbage.
Our Spring Lace Chemise is so full in the armpits we do not add  a gusset nor at the lower hem, not needed here. The arms are blousy enough and body full enough that once your Overgown is on, you can reach underneath and tuck, pull, pinch, nip, here and there to make it a perfect fit on your neckline and arms. The idea is that the lace appears as If sewn on your gown, not the chemise, is fitted properly. You can pull it plenty low in front as is should appear, and higher in back to protect against body oils on your fancy exterior garment.
The size is pinned as LARGE  as shown in  File Photos pictures but I will give you some measurements to help decide if this is right for you:  1;  Front sleeve seam from Neckline to Sleeve seam bottom : 20"   2; Length of Chemise down front:  40"   3; Armpit to Armpit across Bust in the position drawstringed I show you is 25" time 2 would would be 48-52" bust, but do keep in mind even in you are smaller you need a roomy chemise to be able to do all the final pinch and pull I mention to make it perfect fitting. I will warn the Newbies right now you cannot just pull this over your head and say "done", the Lady's Maid must help final adjustment to the Overgown for a perfect finish.
Note the Neck ribbons are so generous they nearly hang to bottom of Chemise, and the lace is just precious. There is nothing like our Couture quality any where on EBay, and that's why our items are very limited, and called Lady Ellens Fine Ware. Look how lushly the bow ties close at the sleeve, and how elegant that would appear peeking out of your gown. There is a sufficient weight at hem to avoid flyaway or stick to legs or uncomfort of any soft. I wear this model myself most of the time for dancing and leading tour guests at the small house 18thc museum I consult at and the wearer will be comfortable all day and you can get by an entire weekend of 2-3 dressings before laundry as it is so crisp and fresh, simply hanger air out over Nite. It is wide enough in the hip area to accommodate pocket full panniers and the airy thick woven matching lace is just heavenly and feminine. Thus, buy once, it will become your best friend to reach for over and over again for a flattering underpinning fit and lush appearance. Machine wash on Gentle Setting OR hand wash/drip dry. Easy, pleasy, cool and breezy!
