  • Condition: This collectors spoon of the Roman Coliseum in Italy is a vintage spoon that hung on a spoon rack specifically for collectors spoons. There is an ornate open cut-out of the handle, and the spoon is clearly hallmarked with the .800 mark along with an Italian hallmark. There is some darkened tarnish on this vintage spoon that would easily come off if one likes there sterling cleaned.

    Vintage .800 Silver Roman Coliseum Ornate Italian Souvenir Collectors Spoon
    You are bidding on an antique collectible Vintage .800 Silver Roman Coliseum Ornate Italian Souvenir Collectors Spoon .   This spoon was my Grandmother's but it does have some darkened patina to it, and it is hallmarked on the inside top of the spoon bowl with the .800 mark, and is also hallmarked with the Italian Silver mark along the top of the spoon bowl opposite the 800 mark.  It is in excellent condition and was a display spoon only (not used for food).   This spoon is in very good condition given its age and tarnish typical of 800 silver and would be a great addition to any souvenir collection.   The spoon is extremely ornate with the coliseum at the top, a relief lion below that and the handle of the spoon has ornate cut-out details with the country's flower.   The spoon measures approximately 4 3/4" long and weighs 13.36 grams.   This spoon and many others presently listed were from my mother's and/ or grandmother's collection beginning in the early 1930's.   Take a look as I do offer combined shipping discounts for multiple purchases.
