Vintage English Brass Turtle, lift top lid trinket box or ashtray- nice detail

Description

Vintage piece, not recent cheap import!  This was used by my grandfather, then my mother to keep stamps in on their desk.  You can use it for any trinkets, as a lidded ashtray or whatever!
Stamped made in England
All intact, no repairs, hinge is original with original pin which is sometimes hard to find and have been replaced over time.
Great detail and patina on this vintage piece.
