This is a replica Panzerfaust
cardboard END CAP
( in German its called the "pappkappe") for the launching tube of your PZ GROSS and 60/100m version's of the WWII German Panzerfaust anti tank weapon. Many Soviet T34's and IS-2's lost their lives to the Panzerfaust which could penetrate over 7 inches of armor plate. The end cap is made of heavy duty cardboard construction just as the original's were. This was copied as closely as possible to an original example. Amazing how there are super nice detailed Panzerfaust replicas out there today being sold, but they don't come with the END CAP that all the original PZ's were issued with. The purpose of the end cap was to keep moisture from entering the tube as well as any dirt/debris ect. When the Panzerfaust was fired, the cap would be blown off from the force of the black powder charge inside the tube.  This end cap will fit nicely on your original faust !!  These should fit your reproduction models as well if the outside tube diameter is 50mm ( 2 inches). The backsides on these are left a little raw so you will get a tight fit, if you desire a more loose fit, simply trim off the excess material on the inside edge. I show this on my original 60m Panzerfaust the fit is perfect! I test fit each cap on my Panzerfaust to ensure that it fits.

NOTE:  This end cap will not fit the Pz. Kleine Gretchen model as they have a smaller diameter tube.
